FKM-NY is a congregation of Malagasy worshipers based in New York and its surrounding areas, including individuals living in the Tri-State region (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut), as well as Malagasy people passing through for work, study, or visiting family in the New York area.
The congregation was officially established on September 8, 2008, in the State of New Jersey.
Pastor Samoela Andriani was the first pastor, serving from as early as 1999 up until 2012, even before the official dedication in 2008. Since 2013, Pastor Perline Cooper has been leading FKM-NY.
Since November 2016, the congregation has been worshiping at 126-128 West 16th Street, at the French Evangelical Church (FEC) in New York, and continues to do so.
FKM-NY is committed to cooperating with all churches that believe in Jesus Christ. It remains interdenominational, welcoming worshipers from various Christian denominations in Madagascar to participate in all church activities — ,
