FKM-NY OFFICIERS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FKM-NY's officers was renewed on January 21, 2013. Board members have the task of leading the activities for two upcoming years. Depending on the outcome of the election during that time Responsibilities of each members were set up during the first meeting of new board.
Congratulation for the outcoming officers who had performed various steps for the development of the Church during the years 2012. Glory be to God for all his blessing made since the transitional period of the "Church". Here are their names and responsibilities of executive officers: President of FKM-NY: Mr Thierry RAKOTOBE-Joël
The branches of the church and officials relating to: 1 - Bulding and sound systems: Mr Aimé RAKOTONIAINA his e-mail is HERE Officials of various branches invites everyone according to his talents, to take part in activities and masses in order to glorify God. 2 - CHOIR: Mr Seta RAMAROLAHY, his phone (947-817-4280) and e-mail HERE As they say, the most important thing is not knowing how to read notes or Solfa but the will and love to glorify God through the hymns. Songs performances as well as dates and places choir's practice will be communicated through the media that the church use. 3 - Sunday School: Mrs Ando RAKOTOBE, her e-mail HERE Many children and adults takes part in such activities in their respective American Church. The goal for the Sunday school of FKM-NY will be the education of children on the history of Madagascar in related to religion, belief and the impact of the Christian religion in Madagascar. Lessons and courses are to been developped by various officials including the pastor. Projection is to start Sunday School during the September homecoming worship 4 - Dorkass or association of Christian Women Mrs Harizo RANAIVOHAJARIVONY, her e-mailHERE All responsibilities outside the masses are mainly oversaw by dorkass, including social activities after the mass, guards the children, visits related to sick, family joys and love one losses within the Malagasy communities and various mutual aid. Their responsibility includes maintain and updated the website of the FKM-NY, the distribution of invitations and other letters/newsletters from the Church . 6-Pastoral visits and Bible Study: Pastor Perline COOPER her e-mail HERE There will be a regular Bible study within FKM-NY or in the churchgoers' homes who are willing to host such a meeting. On the other hand Pastor allocate dates to visit those wishing to receive a pastoral visit, including prayer, moral and religious consolation. Mr Thierry Rakotobe-Joël was elected the new President. May God help him in his new role within the Church. And may God be glorified on all performed actions and that respect of the love that Jesus Christ shows will drive all actions.
